Domestic Shipping Policy
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days after payment is received. Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or holidays.
During periods of high order volume, shipments may experience slight delays. If there is a significant delay with your order, our team will contact you via email.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Estimated shipping times within the United States are typically:
- Standard Shipping: 5–14 Business Days
- Expedited Shipping: Available at checkout for select items and locations
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.
Please note that certain oversized luxury furniture items may require additional transit time due to specialized handling and white glove delivery services.
Shipment Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information. Tracking numbers typically become active within 24–48 hours.

- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom
We also ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses where applicable.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, taxes, or tariffs imposed by your local government. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
The Velvet Canine is not responsible for customs-related delays or additional international fees.
Damaged or Lost Packages
The Velvet Canine is not liable for products damaged or lost during transit. If your package arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.
Please retain:
- All original packaging materials
- Damaged products
- Shipping labels and documentation
This information may be required for claims processing.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. We attempt to verify all addresses before shipment.
If we are unable to validate your address, we may contact you for correction. If no response is received, your order may be canceled and refunded.
The Velvet Canine is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses that cannot be recovered.
Missing or Stolen Deliveries
If your tracking information shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us immediately.
Our support team will:
- Assist in filing a carrier investigation
- Work directly with the shipping provider
- Help resolve the issue as quickly as possible
Carrier investigations may take up to 21 business days to complete before a replacement or refund can be issued.
